Springing early

With fifty-two days to go until the average last frost date for my neck of the woods, something tells me I won't be enjoying any peaches from my tree this summer.

You know what they say about great minds. I've just been pruning my twelve trees and blogged it. Luckily the buds are far behind yours. We had a bumper crop last fall

Just heard a piece on the local NPR station last week about how the Colorado West Slope orchards are in the midst of pruning right now

Wow- a dozen trees! I'm jealous. This should be time for pruning, even down here. Definitely too soon for hopes of blossoms making it to fruit.
